Most of what I've said that I won't give up has already gone!

My #1 would be my house & #2 would be electricity. Everything else I can do with out.

I can't honestly say there is anything I wouldn't give up if times were really tough. Obviously food and shelter, but if it came down to having to downsize in order to feed my family, I would even consider selling my house and moving into an apartment or in with family (if they'd have me!).

If money was just a little tight and we had to make cuts, the last thing to go would be my car. We lived with one car when my kids were babies and survived because we were on a bus route, but without a car where we live now I would have no way to get to work (even though I only work 10 hours a week) and I would have to run all of my errands at night, which is the time I value with my family.

Well I SAY that I'd never get rid of our internet and cell phones but if it were a matter of putting food on the table, it would probably go.

Honestly, probably just my apartment and utilities.

Food of course, but my house. If I had to downsize I would but really don't want to lose my house. They can have everything else. I think I could even temporarily live without electric but would work very hard to get it back on. TV, Cable, Internet, Telephone, Vehicles they can all go if I have to. But hopefully none will.

everything could go but house and utilities and at least one car since we would need some transportation but we would keep our small 4 door saturn its more fuel efficient and would do the job. Luckily our cars are paid for.

I would refuse to give up our dogs and fresh produce. My dogs are like my kids, and if they had to go I would go right along with them. They really don't cost all that much to take care of aside from food, though. If things got bad enough we could get rid of a vehicle, internet, phones, and buy less expensive foods (for both DH and I as well as our dogs), and probably even sell some things we own. Thank goodness that our house would be fine because it's paid off and our taxes each year amount to nothing.
