*Jam & Jellies -
Homemade Jam's or Jellies. Everyone loves jam's or jellies made from this season's fruits.

*Jar of Dry Mixes-
I probably already mentioned this but jar of mix. Cookie mix or cake mix. Put in a decorative jar with the recipe attached for the cookie mix tie a cookie cutter with a pretty ribbon around it and you have a gift.

*Jolly & Jokes-
Have everyone share a funny story or a joke that the whole family can enjoy. Spending time with your loved ones is the best gift you can give, so why not make it funny along with fun.

K
*Knitting-
Not everyone knows how to knit but check out your library and see if you can't find a book to show you how. Knit up mittens, sweater, hat or even an afghan.

*Kites-
For some of us that live in the southern areas of the country you can get the kids or make the kids a kite and spend the afternoon at the park helping them to fly their kits.

*Kozies-
You can pick up plain kozies at the craft stores and decorate them to each persons personality.

*Kitten-
This may not be for everyone but if you have been considering adding a pet to your family don't forget to check out your local animal shelters. There are alot of wonderful pets that need homes. If you can't add a new family member this way consider purchasing a bag or two of pet food to donate to your local shelter. If you can't afford to do that donate old towels and blankets so that the animals have something soft to lay on, or old stuff toys to play with.

*Make something homemade-
This is kind of a repeat but wrote differently. But anything homemade is usually always welcome. Make a pie, cookies, pot holders, blanket, purse, wallet, anything and there are projects out there that don't require a great skill either.

*Mason Jars-
Anything that you can put into a mason jar. Dry cookie mix, dip mix, homemade laundry soap with the recipe attached.

*Memories-
Make memories together go caroling, go visiting at your local nursing home or hospital, bake holiday treats together, make a craft together.

*Mom Day-
Give any deserving mom the day off. Volunteer to take her kids for the day, or if you can't do that fix her a couple of freezer meals so she can have a prepared meal when she is in need of a quick meal.

*Quilts or Quillows
Make up or give some already made quilts to keep your loved one warm at night. Kids quilts are small so quick and easy to make. Instead of quilting them just tie them off.

*Quick Breads
Use your favorite recipe and make some up now to freeze so that you will have them on hand for the holidays.

*Quiet Time
What mom would not want some quiet time to herself. Take the kids for a walk, or to your house for a play date to give that special mom in your life a few minutes to herself.
