Who or what is the downfall to your budget? Do you have a hard time saying no to sales? Do you have a hard time sticking to the "eating out" budget?

Me me me. I get all into what I'm doing, namely finding the bargains and getting a lot, that I forget about everything else! We started a more detailed budget so that I can see better what I can and can't do. This week, I CAN get the 30 boxes of Kraft Mac and Cheese for $.40 each. But I can't stock up on burger. It's hard to make choices when you are afraid the deal won't come around again, but the thing to remember is IT ALWAYS COMES AROUND AGAIN!!!!

Mine is finding really good sales. I am better at it than I was, but I would totally blow the grocery budget with sales. Especially good meats that I know will taste good when we cant afford them.

I still buy sodas but only when I can find them on sale for under $1 a 2 ltr. I stopped buying the cans and individual bottles years ago.

I also love thrift stores and have a hard time limiting what I spend when I am in there. Then there are garage sales...

Budget??? I tried to have one... Who am I kidding I have not tried to balance a "cheque book" since 2003. I use my debit card for nearly everyting bump all pay statements and receipts against the bank statement a few times a month.

I go to the grocery store with a list of what we need but seem to never pass up a great sale. I probably have enough in the pantry and freezers to feed a family of 6 for 6 months. Ditto on the personal hygeine and laundry products

Target, if I could stay out I would save loads of money.

not that I am buying crap... it's stuff we use, it's just I seem to be stockpiling tons of it.

Eating out is our's lately. I stay at home with my kids and I run into there ruts every once in a while where I don't feel like cooking in the evening or on the weekends since I make and we eat every meal at home.

I have a problem with food - stocking up. My biggest panic is not if we run out of money to pay bills, heat, whatever, but food. Unfortunately, when we are running short, I have a tendency to sabotage the budget by buying food.

For me it's just plain old going shopping. Even with a specific list I tend to come out with at least one thing that wasn't on it. I really need to work on setting foot in the grocery store once a week and that's it!
