Me, too. We have the money in a Christmas account, but since I do most of my shopping online it will technically be credit. I consider it cash, though, because we will pay it off right away.

I informed my extended family early on each family group will get something small. As for the immediate family... my son, his new video game will release in late November and I have the money already set aside as we ordered it back in July. The rest of his Christmas will be our together time at Universal Studios with already paid for discounted 7 day-2 park hopper passes. My gift... Quality fun time with my teenager before he graduates next year.

I don't plan on buying anything. I am making everything that I can with the craft stuff I already have on hand. I probably will end up buying a few small things for the grandkids, plus candy but I will use CASH only for any items that I purchase.

I am paying cash.

I only have to make 2 more soups.

I bought(over bought) yankee candles after Christmas 2 years ago at 75% off. I stick(kodak super sticky photo paper) on pictures of the kids and give them to the older family members.
