If you have access to all three in your area, which one would you choose? What are the main differences?

I have Sams & Costco. We chose Costco after having a Sams membership for a year. I felt like I could get all the same stuff at Walmart that I could get at Sams. I really like Costcos range of products. They carry a lot of the brands that we like and I love the monthly coupon flyers they send out. We normally determine what we're buying that month by the coupon flyers.

We have all three in our area...

I don't think there really is a 'best' one to be honest, because different people want different things, buy different things etc

We belong to Costco and BJ's. We haven't belonged to Sam's in a long time. The stores near us were not very clean, and we found that we were getting better deals at BJ's, which had newer, cleaner stores that were closer to us.

It's one of those things - you need to know your prices. Because some things are good deals at stores like Costco/BJ's/Sam's and some things really aren't. My price book is invaluable at those places.

We've had memberships to all three over the years (through my parents, his parents, and on our own).

BJ's is my personal favorite because they take a variety of credit cards and they take manufacturer's coupons. It's also the closest.

Costco is my second favorite - especially for big ticket items. They have a really good selection on some items, but I hate that the only credit card you can use is AmEx and they don't take manufacturer's coupons. My husband has a card through his parents and my parents also have a membership so we have access when we need it, but it's not enough of a value to me for us to have our own membership.

Sam's - well, I haven't been to one in a couple years probably. I guess that speaks for itself.

We have all 3, and we've had memberships to all of them. Right now we have a Sam's membership, but I'm thinking of going to Costco when the Sam's one expires soon. The only advantage Sam's has had for us is they carry a box of frozen Cheese steaks that my husband would live off of if I let him

I didn't care for BJ's - not sure why, but it just never struck me as being worth the membership.
