What have you done this week that has saved you the most money?

Nothing. Not a thing. As in I stayed home and didn't go out!!! My daughter is really bored though.

I did this last year, I bought a halloween shirt on clearance for 2.00 and wore it this past weekend. It fit perfectly, I was so proud of my 2.00 light up halloween shirt, so I didn't buy a shirt for me this year.

I bought a WII . . . and this is how I saved money? YES! Earlier in the fall, we bought a phone for my son (what we think is a necessity -- long hours after school on public transportation) and tires for the car. We received rebates with both purchases. Then, I received a check from our thrift store -- from clothing and items that I receive from other people (no initial cost from me). So, I was able to buy a WII and three games for $14.18 out-of-pocket! We have been wanting to get one for Christmas, and now we have it! Cool, huh?
