I have chickens, so don't generally buy eggs unless I have a lot of baking to do, in which case I usually get the 18 pack which when I got one last week was $1.45

We just "harvested" our chickens last month and I'm really missing the eggs! It absolutely kills me to have to buy them again. I had forgotten how "pale" commercial eggs are compared to farm fresh.

Eggs were $1.24 for doz and $1.83 for 18 at WalMart when I bought them last week. I think Kwik Trip had them for about the same.

$1.97 at Walmart - the best price around.

In normal grocery stores they are $2.79 a dozen.

We don't normally buy them since we have chickens but they were $1.69 a dozen for large last week.

Since I live in a border town area I've been going across to the state side to buy things like margine, butter, eggs, etc. Whatever is cheaper in the states, I'll get in the states. Even after exchange it's still cheaper for me.
I have noticed that the last couple of weeks that egg prices have really jumped in the states. I've been buying med eggs for 0.75-0.85 cents per dozen. Now those same eggs were 1.25/dozen. It's still cheaper than getting them at home seeing as eggs here are well over $2/dozen. Milk I've noticed has been going up in price on both sides of the border to.
