I keep reading that so many of you end up getting so much stuff for free or for almost free at Walgreens. Please share how you all are doing that. Do you use the coupons in the Walgreen flier from the paper plus regular coupons? I am a little couponly challenged in this area. Thanks for the help.

Walgreens has an "easysaver" catalog they publish every month that lists items that you pay for and then send in for rebates. Pick one up just inside the front door at the store. Almost every month they will have some items that you will get the total cost of the product back in the rebate - meaning that the item is free. It's also my understanding that they will let you combine store coupons from their weekly ad with other coupons so you can get items very discounted that way too.

Does Walgreens send you a rebate in the form of a check or is it to be used like a coupon only at Walgreens? that's the way Menards does their rebates.

At wlagreens you can chose if you want a check or you can get your refund in the form of a walgreens gift card if you get the gift card they give you an additional 10%. When they have something free after rebait I use the coupon too. In october they had the large bottel of garnier conditioner for free. I had a dollar off coupon so I paid 6.99 but got back 7.99 plus the 10%. Thats better then free!

this is how I do it also.

you can also use two manufacturer coupons with a buy one get one free. If it is something I can't use I still get my free money(only if free money) and then donate it so I can get tax credit.
