I honestly have never grocery shopped at Aldi and am thinking of doing so.

What do you guys think of their produce, meat, and dairy??

I've had good luck with all the produce, meat and dairy I've tried from Aldi. Here are more threads on the topic: http://mommysavers.com/boards/tags.php?tag=aldi

I like their dairy and have tried some meat there with luck. I've never bought produce there though-everytime I've went there, it didn't look very good.

The Aldi in my town is ghetto. I assume it is like anything else, some stores are better in different areas.

I love our Aldi's. It's clean, right next to Walmart. All walks of families shop there so I never feel "odd" shopping there.

We do 90% of our grocery shopping there. We like all things but.

-Hot Dogs
-Liquid Coffee Creamer

Those are the only 2 things we've tried that we didn't like.

we buy alot at aldis we buy dairy, breads, baking all canned goods. I buy as far as produce goes the bannanas, carrots and celery. I don't buy meat there but thats because its more expensive than sales at the regular markets. there are very few things that we have not liked. their fit and active light ranch dressing is so good and only $1.09!

We used to shop there all the time. I used to when I first got my apartment but then I moved to a town that didnt have one so I stopped shopping there. Since moving back I havent really shopped there. Its good food for a decent price. Some things are better then others and you just really need to try things out. Speaking of I think thats one place me and the kids will hit tomorrow when we go shop. At the aldi's in my town and the next one over the carts cost $0.25 but you get it back when you leave. Its mainly to keep all the carts together and in one spot.

The produce I've gotten there has been good and reasonably priced. I like Aldi for those stock-up baking supplies like flour, sugars, spices. Usually their snacks, chips, pretzels, etc. are reasonably priced, too.
