I was curious how is your grocery shopping going? I hope we were able to help you save some money!

Oh my goodness... I ended up doing some after Christmas shopping in the same trip, so I thought I did horrible. But, when I looked over my reciept, I did pretty well. I didnt end up spending any less, but I did get a lot more for my money, and I think that was the point too!

I got a ton of meat, and fruits and veggies, plus restocked my pantry after using up most of my stockpile. This on top of weekly groceries ended up costing me 175.00. This week I will only have to buy milk, drinks, bread, lunchmeat, and some more fruits and veggies. Probably about $50. I was happy, but I am hoping to do even better coming up.

Thanks for asking

That's great! Sometimes, I go over my budget when I am restocking things- but then I more than make up for it when I just have to get the "staples" (fruit, bread milk, deli meats!). You will notice that it all evens itself out- I usually go by what I add up at the end of the month- that's when you will probably now if you saved!
