I send a wide mouth thermos with my ds. Usually it's spagettios w/ hotdogs or bite size raviollis. I did have a screw top water bottle, but he let it start growing a science project before he decided to bring it home I would send juice in it, so now I have to go a find another one. His lunch usally costs around 1.00 to send, 1.75 to buy at school. But like alot of you, he will eat what I send, and throw away most of what he buys. It's to expensive for him to throw out most of the school lunch.

My DSs love mini bagels w/ cream cheese, Cereal (bring the wilk in a thermos), and like many others said...muffins.

How about pasta salad, with any veggies they like mixed in, or use almond butter in place of peanut butter with sliced banana on 2 waffles.

I pack Spaghettios in a thermos. I buy them on sale, a "family size" jar will give me two lunches. This can also work for chili, soup, etc. Cheese and crackers, apples, and Pepperidge Farm goldfish (in Ct. the cheapest place to buy them is either the Pepperidge Farm outlet or Walmart) are always in the lunches. I may throw a treat in once in a while, but not always. Hope this helps!

I remember when I was younger that I used to get cheese sandwiches. I loved them and they are so easy to make. I use those kraft singles and a little bit of mayo. Hope that helps!
