ACK I almost bought some stuff off the gymbo board I'm on, but I backed out. Dh's check sucked, so I thought that was my sign I didn't need to buy anything. Other than that, I'm okay. This week I only bought gas for myself and groceries for the house. Then I bought dh's pills the other day and thats it.

I haven't spent a single cent this week, yet. Tomorrow MIL and I are taking my 2 little ones to the Doodlebops Live show, I plan to buy both of them a t-shirt.

I will have to buy milk later today and we will eat out once over the weekend.

I just spent 41.19 at WalMart. The 11. was for baby food, others were staples that we were out of like cream, veggies, bread......all which I knew I would be buying this month as needed. The only non food related items was deoterant (that's kindof a must have eh?) and 3 RSVP pens, which are for a craft project I'm doing for next Christmas.
I had picked up a couple of plates to finish off my collection I got for Christmas, but decided to wait and see if they go on sale. They are things that they stock all the time, so I might as well wait to see if I can save a little.

I spent 29.18 at the grocery store today. That's it so far. I'm sticking to my menu and plus I haven't charged a thing or used my debt card since December!!!

I spent $10 at the grocery store (milk, cheese, lunchmeat, fries, pop, veggies) and then we splurged $8 on burgers (had a coupon and only got burgers b'c I bought fries at the store). I only bought pop at the store b'c DH was still sick and it helps his stomach. It's strange (but way awesome) to not see $1.25 in our bank account the day before payday! I have to make up a menu tonight for the next 2 weeks so I can pick up a few things from Aldi's tomorrow when I'm out. I'm still going to spend money on my stockpile though - is anyone else doing that? I'm afraid to pass up the super good deals on meat, etc, because I dont want to end up going back to paying full price for stuff when my (small) stockpile is gone. I havne't been stockpiling for that long so it's not that big!

I had to do that earlier this week! I went to Aldi's to refurbish my canned vegies and snacks for dh lunch- along with some microwaveable lunches (he's getting tired of sandwiches!)! Our local (Little) grocery store had a pretty nice sale on meats and a few other things so I bought a few extra things to add into my "stockpile". I am a firm believer that making menus does help you save money! I started to do this not too long ago and it has saved a lot of money!

I'm doing pretty well.
I have bought a few items with gift cards, but I don't count those!!! LOL!

I have spent money on food which we must have.
The only other splurge was an $8 book for my son.

well, my fiance and i are a bit down and out right now, so i have had to skimp on EVERYTHING... we are forced to move into a new place, so i have been quite inventive trying to use the little bit of food we have at home... we went to get groceries yesterday, and superstore was having a dollar daze sale... so i planned the rest of the week's menu using anything i could buy for a buck... so for us to eat 3 meals a day until thursday (including last night) cost 28 bucks (canadian)... not too bad. spent 40 bucks on gas, which i hope lasts until pay day... we have 1.00 left to our names and that is going to buy a $1 pack of fresh mushrooms on tuesday. it is sort of like a game now... we dont have any spare money, but if i plan my menus with what is on sale, then there is no way i can NOT save money... DH does not mind leftovers for lunch, so i make a large dinner and plan to get 2 meals out of it... both of us hate sandwiches, so it works well...
our pay cheques on thursday (about 1300 total) is going towards us moving... first month's rent Damage dep. etc... so we are going to be broke for a while... but i am trying to prove to ken that if we can do it now and survive, why not try to make it a way of life? it will make it alot easier on us in the long run.

I have been pretty good. I did use my gymbucks, but I only bought clothes for next winter because they don't need any now. I also bought clothes for ds, dd and an outfit for me at a consignment shop 1/2 off sale and I ordered all my pictures from July through Christmas with teh clark color 2 cent code. Otherwise it has been target walgreens and cub. I think I am stocked up from Target, so I hope to not go back their all month. I do get my hair colored this week, but that is my own money I set aside and I will get dd 9 month pictures done, but I am thinking I will just buy a couple since her 1 year will be three months later and my mom and mil only display the most current anyway.
