I got a Kohl's gift card that WAS burning a hole in my pocket...until I used it to get a new pair of running shoes...which I needed. I burned through my Starbucks cards ($40 worth) faster than you can say "venti non-fat latte"!

I still have $50 (we started out with $75) worth of movie gift cards...we don't get to the movies as often.

I find that if I have gift cards for places like Kohl's, Target, Old Navy...I have a harder time finding things for me than if I was just shopping with my own $$$. Why is that???

Had them - spent them! LOL! I hadn't been shopping in forever, so they were burning a hole in my pocket!

My in-laws typically get us very useful ones, so this year it was Shaw's (grocery store) and Mobil. No need to worry about spending THOSE!! I'll hold onto them 'till this summer when I don't have kids to watch (no income for me ) so they'll be handy then! Oh~ I also have a general mall GC that I'm waiting to buy myself some clothes for the New Me this summer!! Yippee!

We still have a movie gift card from last year. This year I got archivers, caribou coffee, olive garden and macaroni grill/chilis and I haven't spent any yet. Oh and I got a gap credit from a return of pajamas that I got, but I haven't had time to look for anything.
