Homemade magnets

I save all those advertising magnets and use them to make up our own.

I have kids cut out small pictures from catalogs/magazines/old books basically anything with pictures or fancy words. I then glue them onto the magnets, right over the advertising. If the magnets are the rectangle size I usually cut them in half and now have two magnets. everything is free except the glue.

The kids give them away as gifts or sell them at a kids craft fair (our local library has one every June).
