when publix has a good Penny coupon I go back again on Monday and buy only sale items I need to get up to $10 so I can get another penny item. For example: This week the penny item was 1/2 gallon of milk. I went back today and bought Juicy Juice & Nutrigrain Cereal bars as well as a few clearance items and wound up saving more than I spent. It was totaly worth it to get a 1/2 gallon of milk for $0.01!!! I always stock up on their BOGOs. I haven't had to buy canned veggies for regular price in about 6 months!!
