I use mismatched socks on my hand to clean my furniture. Put the sock on your hand spray your table and wala off you go. I then turn the sock inside out on the bottle of furniture polish.

Baby socks are good to put on the feet of chairs or other furniture toprevent scratching hardwood floors. For whatever it's worth. ;-)
