I cant use cheap tp and I wont reuse ziplock bags unless they were used to store cookies or something like that. A man on Opera said never to reuse one that you had meat or chesse in. Those bags are biodegradable and therfor obsorb the bacteria from those things and that can never be wash out.

I won't use cheap ink pens. I work in an office and I bought my own pens to avoid using the cheap ones they buy. Good pens last a lifetime only buying refills. Give such a professional look to your documents. cheap pens just don't work

I couldn't give up paper towels, or eating out! I love to eat out and since I'm the only one that will cook it's the only break I have.

OK, I'll go....the Diva Cup is a re-usable, plastic item that I believe is...ummmm...insertable....that catches the "flow" and then you empty it out and clean it and...ummm...reinsert it. I know some women that just really like it but it's something I just can't do.

I made a conscious decision to use disposable diapers instead of cloth. We live with a septic system and bleach will kill the natural bacteria in the system so I couldn't bleach cloth diapers regularly. Also I have a very high capacity front loading washer so if I wanted to wash diapers I would have had to mix them with something else or buy A LOT more diapers - neither seemed like a good idea.

I tried cloth sanitary pads. I prefer disposable. Since I never could get used to a diaphragm and would nearly lose it if I had started my period while using one :hurl: I decided against ever giving the cup a try.

I use Scott 1000 TP which I don't consider 'cheap', just frugal. However, I hate TP that shreds, pills and piles WHILE you're using it. I have to run home and use the shower to wash off the little TP balls when that happens.

I never did get around to making my own laundry detergent. I could be frugal is so many other ways first.

I do wash and reuse plastic baggies. As others have said, never reuse a plastic baggie that has stored meat.

Gotta have Always with wings.

Target brand of kleenex is just as good as Puffs I think.

I have found a good name brand toilet paper that even my dh hasn't complained about.

Ok, I admit I don't flush every time I potty. I have over active bladder and go more often than 2 small children. Sometimes you can't even tell the color of the water has changed.
I will reuse baggies but not the meat ones. I cut my dryer sheet into small squares. Some I can get 6 squares out of one sheet. I cut several boxes at one time while I was on the phone talking to my Mom. It has been over 2 years and I am still using them. I use really cheap shampoo for liquid hand soap.
