[quote=bmsmgwk]Ok, I admit I don't flush every time I potty.QUOTE]

I agree! I never used to do this and I thought it was gross when my husband first started telling me about it but we do it now. We call it "two on the flush" If one of us goes in to go to the bathroom and someone else has to go too we just yell that and then we flush it after we have all gone.

Oh, this is so gross that I just have to share. I would never reuse Kleenex. My Mom will blow her nose, however many times, and then let it all dry up and the next time she has to blow, she will pull it all apart and blow into it again. I couldn't stand when she did this when I was younger and now that I'm all grown up, I still can't stand it. YUCK!:hurl:

I would NOT limit my gasoline to just taking ds to school. I get very stir crazy and when I have to get out, I Have to get out. Staying home just to save $10 a week would make me physically ill!:hurl:

Glad I'm not the only one!!! I love paper towels and wash the dishes with them. No disgusting sponge, dishrag, smelly YUCK! I just throw it away and I'm sure it disintegrates quickly. They are recycled too, so it's worth it to me.

I would not wash out baggies and dry them to reuse them.

As for the flush thing, we have a saying around here. We don't flush "unless it's brown, then flush it down".

It may sound silly, but we won't stop buying soda. We've cut down a lot, and we choose diet soda (caffeine-free for me). We also drink the store brand from Walmart or our grocery store. They're MUCH cheaper than Pepsi or Coke, and we like the way the store brands taste.

I also couldn't do the menstrual cup. 2 or 3 dollars a month on pads is fine with me.

I won't reuse aluminum foil or ziploc bags.

I happen to like paper towels. We've lived without them for a few weeks at a time, due to lack of money, but we prefer to have them. I use paper towels or toilet paper instead of Kleenex. Works just as well.

I won't do anything illegal.

I can't buy cheap dish soap or hand soap, my skin gets so dry, I have to use less drying brands. I HAVE TO HAVE paper towels! We don't use napkins, so paper towels are always in stock here. If buying paper plates, DIXIE brand is what I buy.
I can't give up my Pepridge farm 15 grain bread either, I just love the taste, I know it isn't cheap, but I just love it!
I also can't give up my Dove hair spray, the spritz. I have not ever found another one that makes my hair as nice or that doesn't totally dry it out.

And BTW, the thought of even removing a full cup just disgusts me! That is a badddd idea IMO>
