Definitely. I am trying to save as much as possible since dh and I are both working right now. We want to start a family next year so I know now is the time to get ahead! There are some things I would like to have and some major purchases we have to make but instead of just going out and getting them I am saving for them and doing a little at a time. I've made my self a wish list for purchases and am saving spare change and "extra" money like b-day money to get these things. So i can put more money into savings and paying off bills.
