Yesterday on Oprah, Jean Chatzky (the money expert) said that people are either spenders or savers and that they tend to marry the opposite.

Are you a spender or a saver? What about your spouse?

I was a spender but I've been a saver for about 10 years now (never thought I could change). Dh is a saver. Lucky us. :love:

I am a spender but I only like spending if its a good deal. However, if the deals are really good, I will spend like crazy. Almost like an addiction or compulsion that could get out of control. My DH is a saver - THANK GOODNESS. I am not nearly the spender I used to be and I never spend more than I have or go into debt. We only use credit cards at Christmas and then pay them off immediately. However, there is a really dark side of me that could just go on an absolute spending binge if I let it. Scary!

saver. My husband is the spender. I am slowly changing him.

I was a spender and dh was the saver but it seams liek the opposite now.

I tend to be the spender (I'm getting alot better though ). and DH saves.

I'm a mix really, I love save but I also like to eat out so i dunno. DH is a mix too. We save and spend. Trying to be savers together though.

I am a saver. Mainly because I moved out so young. DH is a saver too. He married a spender the first time around. So he really went looking for a saver.

DH is really a spender and I am too but I compensate and only buy things on super sale! LOL! But since I've been home with our girls, it is who is more of the saver.
