Default Write to companies about good products

I once wrote to Mrs. Rhodes dinner rolls and told them I liked the product but found it to be very expensive for me to buy.

I recvd an entire sheet of the coupons that I still use to this day.

Many companies will send you free items if you just call to ask a question or to leave a comment. My DS once put Desitin into our new forest green carpet. I called in a panic and they sent out a new tube with coupons. Free products and free coupons all for a call to an 800 number, free!

Great idea! I've had really good success with this. The companies enjoy the feedback (esp when it's good) and I enjoy the coupons! It's a win win situation.

I recently had a product that I had a problem with, well I thought about that it must suck only get e-mails or phone calls about mistakes and thought I wonder if these companies would send you a coupon if you compliment the product. Well I gave it a try and now I got a ton of coupons headed my way.

Who would've thought of doing that? LOL

If you write to any Unilever product they send you a whole booklet of coupons which includes coupons for Country Crock, Suave, Dove and many more well known products. Also, some of the companies now have coupons on their websites that you can print out on a regular basis.

I wrote to Del Monte to tell them I liked a product. I got coupons for free products! WHat impressed me most, though, was that the enclosed letter referred specifically to things I wrote to them -- it wasn't a form letter.

Hmmm, I've never thought to do that. I'll have to try with my favorites!

That's a great idea! I'm sure they love to get the good letters/calls - they're probably few and far between.

Thanks for the tip, I've been racking my brain on other brands I love, but usually buy generic because of cost.

That's what I think too, I know I would be more willing to send a coupon to someone who is talking good about the company than badly.
