I read this in Mary Hunt's daily newsletter. I can't think of the name of it now . . . something cheapskate. Anyways . . .

"Pull out the stem on the watch you are not wearing. It’s a simple trick, takes only a few seconds to disengage the battery while it's in the drawer and to reset the watch when you wear it. "

A good idea if you have several watches that you switch between or a a particular watch that doesn't get worn often. Save those batteries. They can be costly!
