I love to read fiction, non fiction, cookbooks, how-to's, etc... but buying every book I want to read can cost a fortune. I have learned to always check my library first. If they don't have it I can request a inter-library loan or even fill out a form requesting our library purchase the book. It is a really great way to get to read EVERYTHING I want for free. I have yet to not be able to get a book through one of these three methods.

The library also has DVD's and many librarys offer limited internet service for free.

I buy a lot of books from Savers. Not necessarily ones I've had in mind, but books that would be read. That's how i've built my kids' "library".
