I've done pretty well...

Ingles: $7.58 (Total before coupons: $28.75)
Kroger: $29.35 (Total before coupons: $101.26)
Publix: $23.62 (Total before coupons $38.75)

I stoked up on a lot of good sales. This also includes all of our meat for the next week or two. I used to spend $100 or more on groceries EVERY WEEK for me and dh to eat one meal a day and an occassional snack. I love the wonderful world of couponing.

I wish I could save that much!! Is that using double coupons? None of our local stores will double coupons and most won't even take the ones you print off the interent! When I used to work at a grocery store we would take expired coupons up 6 months after the date. Our stores won't take them the day after they expire........I have to say I rarely use coupons becuase they don't save me very much.

Can I just say WOW!! Can you tell us how you do it. The most I can ever save is like $10 for $100.00 grocery bill. Please tell.

Ok so far this month:

Snacks for kids movie night at house $4.12
Walmart groceries $19.22
Filled up Gas in Van $40.00

Not bad considering gas will last me 1 1/2 to 2 weeks and groceries probably through middle of week. Then only having to but bread, milk and eggs.

Here's mine...

Feb. 1st $ .00

Feb. 2nd $ 10.00 pizza- my son had districts for swimming right through dinner.

Feb. 3rd $ 30.00 two birthday presents for friends.
$160.00 groceries (one weeks worth)

Feb. 4th $ .00 except for our weekly tithe

I'm still under budget for the week, so I'm in good shape.

Feb- 3 Grocery Day - 112.00 for 2 weeks
Feb-4 Walmart 3 picture frames and pictures developed for a gift 12.00

Week total 112+12+32(from days prior) = 166.00 for first week

(Not all that good since we have 250.00 budgeted for gas/food/spend in 2 week period)

We spent $5.00 last night at a Superbowl party so DH could "gamble" with the boys. I hate spending money on stuff like this but he had fun, and it was cheap entertainment.
Other than this we had a frugal weekend. Groceries tomorrow though so I will take a look first and only buy necessities (I hope)
