The Complete Tightwad Gazette.

I learned so much from this book! I've read a lot of books on finance but not so many on being frugal so I look forward to hearing other book suggestions.

There is a Frugal Living for Dummies ... It looks good. Anyone read it?

(Moderators ... feel free to put the little book link in .... I have no idea how to do that.)

I loved both of these books. If you go to your library's web site you can have them pull theses from the shelf and hold them for you. I know when I go in there time isn't on my side when browsing.

Miserly Moms by Jonni McCoy is my absolute favorite on the subject I re-read it a few times a year just to keep refreshing myself!

If you can find it try countryside and small stock journal. There are a lot of articles on frugal living.

It depends on whether you're looking for books filled with tips, or more of a lifestyle philosophy.

For frugal philosophies, I'd recommend:

Your Money or Your Life

Affluenza

As many have mentioned before, for tips:

The Complete Tightwad Gazette

Honestly, I think some of the tips books fall short, simply because every money-saving tip you'll need to know is right here on Mommysavers (and MS is free!).

There is a book by the "coupon mom," but I can't remember what it's titled. If I can find it, I'll let you know the title. Thanks for all the suggestions from everyone else. I've never heard of many of these books and I think I might get them sooner or later, but I have to agree with Kim, most of the tips you'll need are right here. Hey...that's a good idea, MommySavers can publish a book of tips, recipes, SAHM issues...we might have something here!

I also have to say "the tightwad gazette". Even though some of her tips are a little extreme, reading it will definitely put you in the mood to be frugal!
