Okay ladies! Since its the end of the month practically I thought I'd see how everyone did. I counted and rolled my change last night and have $93.50! Woo Hoo.

There is still a little bit of change I put back in the jar b/c it wasn't even so I couldn't roll it. How did you all do?

I always save my change but am guilty of getting into it if I want a candybar at the convenience store or something. I plan on now saving it and giving up those little treats. I will post how much I have right now and at the end of the month I will add it up again and see how much I have saved. I am also gonna save dollar bills and see how much I can save in a month.

I just started a jar for our vacation money about a week ago. As of March 17th, I have $9.83 so far. That's not bad since its harder to get the change when you've reduced spending...I'm trying not to eat out not even the dollar menu's and I am going to try instead to put that money in the jar.

Putting change in jars is a great idea!! I started doing this about 2 years ago but unfortunately haven't always stuck with it. Right now I have 3 jars-vacation, birthdays & christmas. Me & my dh have put some bills in these when we had ended up w/extra $ which is very rare, even w/both of us working!

Birthday jar=$22.45
Vacation jar=$29.45
Christmas jar=$0

We started this @ the end of January which isn't too bad since we haven't always been able to contribute!

We now have $12.43!!! Instead of putting the full amount in the tank for gas, I put it minus .50 cents and saved our change from when we bought food. I may have double the amount by the end of the week, we'll have to see...
