Does anyone know if you can use coupons at a wholesale club?

My mom got a membership for BJ's which is a wholesale club up here, similar to Sam's club. She invited me to go with her the next time she goes. I've been there before in the past, but havn't been there for a few years. First: is it worth the membership? Yah you can buy stuff in bulk ect, but I've been doing well shopping the sales at the diffrent stores. Second: Can I use coupons there?

Any advice on how to shop at a wholesale club?

Bjs is the only one that does take coupons.

I would not buy fresh produce if there is no chance you would eat it all before it goes bad! You could make a price book and compare to the grocery.
I belong ot Costco and find that their laundry soap is cheaper but good, dishwashing detergent, paper towels. I buy Jiff peanut butter always cheaper than the grocery even with coupons. Eggs and milk are usually cheaper. Meat is good however its an intial investment since their in such large quanties.

Maybe there are some good deals that you could go halves on with your mom. Best advice try a price book so that you can compare to find the best deal.

I have only been to Sam's, since that is what we have around here. But just like other stores, some things are cheaper, and some aren't. You have to be aware and compare.

We belong to BJ's and Costco...it's a perk thru DH's work so we don't pay for the membership fees. I would probably still pay for at least one of them though, I really like both of them. You have to check the prices obviously, some things are a deal and some are not...

I was about to start a thread with a similar question.

A Sams Club just opened in my area. We're already members of Costco. In comparing the two, I think we'll stay with the Costco membership. However, there are benefits at both clubs.

What would you do?

Member of Sams Club? Member of Costco? Member of both?

Sam's Club will take formula and diaper coupons but they have to be for like the jumbo sizes.
