I am excited to say that I haven't been in Target or Walmart since January 4th! I was originally just trying to stay out of them b/c I end up spending $60.00 or more everytime I went-even when I went in for just one thing. Now I'm wondering if I'd be able to make it the whole year. Don't know as it's hard when you need to get gifts for parties. Anyone else trying to stay out of any place in particular?

I don't think I could stay out for a week, let alone a month! That's awesome!

Wow!!!! Way to go! If I did that our Target would be calling wondering what happened to me! A cashier once told my husband they didn't need to see the signature on his debit card as we were checking out because "Honey, we all know your wife".

Hmmm....maybe I should challenge myself to stay out of Target??!!

Good for you!! I don't go shopping much anymore either.. just figured I was blowing $$ that I shouldn't be on stuff we didn't need! Blah.. lol!

However... I am going shopping this Saturday with my mom, sans kids! So we'll probably go for lunch and there are a few things I need.. so it'll be a nice day!!

I do some of my grocery shopping at Walmart but besides this, I haven't been cruising the aisles either. And you know what? This saving money thing really works! Who knew!!!!

Good for you! Seems like I'm always out of something. I don't know how to stay out of the store. I don't do Walmart often but I usually hit Target once a week.
