Last week we got some coupons in the mail from Kroger the same day dh went to the dr to renew rxs. One coupon was for a $20 credit towards groceries for every new rx you fill there (up to 3), so we filled dh's rx's there this weekend since we pay the same copay anywhere we go.

Now Kroger is having super double coupons for 3 days this week.

My total today was $45 and after the $20 credit (can only use $20 per purchase, but that's okay, it's still free groceries!) and all my coupons today (only bought one item w/o a coupon!), I paid $1.43! And $1.00 of that was a Shamrock for MDA! I was so proud of myself!

I got laundry soap, shampoo, TP, cereal, sausage, a couple frozen meals, pudding cups, all stuff I needed anyways!

I SO miss my Kroger.... before we moved here I could regularly buy groceries for my family on $50 a wk thanks to their double and triple coupons... but now I get no dbls/trpls here and when I go back home I take my coupons and spend one morning grocery shopping with my mom...
