Thanks for all the suggestions ladies! I am also trying to cut back my grocery bill and so far this week I made up my menu for the week on Sunday, went through my coupons and ads, went through my cupboards to "shop" there first and then went to the store and only spent $43! However that included $9 in batteries which I don't typically consider to be on my grocery list. My intentions are to spend only $300 a month for a family of four. I also really like the suggestion of breakfast for dinner! I need more ideas to put on my menu! I used some suggestions from a website that I think I got from here called Cindy's Porch. She has templates for a monthly menu and for taking stock of what is in the fridge, freezer and pantry. It has really helped! You all have such great suggestions! Keep them coming!
