We are starting this at the end of the week. It's good to hear from people who have used this system, too! My dh and I are actually excited about getting this started.

I am using a different version of this. If we have cash on hand, it is so easy to spend it. We are generally pretty good about spending, so we are keeping receipts for EVERYTHING in an envelope on our fridge. I mean everything, even though my husband rolled his eyes at me, when he took money out of the change jar, a little note went straight to the envelope. I am doing this because although we have a budget set up, we seem to be "missing" money at the end of every month. I know it goes to purchases that I either haven't budgeted or we are splurging on. This way, I will know exactly what is going on.
