When are you most tempted to spend? Have you found anything that helps keep the spending down during those really tempting times?

I think the time that I most tempted to spend is when there are sales on kids clothes. I always want to stock up-especially on spring & summer clothes, when my 5 year old cant wear hers from last year because she has gotten taller. Then @ Christmas because that is my favorite time of year & all I want to do is give to others.

When dh is out of town for business. Doesn't happen very often, but when he tells me about first class flights, $500/day accommodations, walking on the beach, wonderful restaurants (ok, I know he's 'working' too but comeon) YEAH I feel like saving $ NOT!! Even though we're not paying for it (his business trips I mean) I tend to shop more when he's at these business trips. I feel if he's working and getting treated like that, I should get treated too since I'm 'working' too.
