Has anyone else become addicted to this website? I have to admit I am- it is a great way to get rid of your stuff and make money on it- best of all it is free! I have sold a few outside toys that my youngest outgrew and some clothes- so far I made $175! I think it is a great way to declutter and save money (I found a gently used Cinderella vanity for $20 original price was for $90- I did not get it yet- it has been listed for a while and I am going to give myself another week before I decide to get it for my youngest Christmas present!).

Yes, I love the site! I advertised a bunch of stuff + my yard sale and made loads of money. Since we are moving and needed a place to live in our camper until our house sells, I posted an ad wanting a camping/parking spot for the summer. I got 3 replys! It's a great website!

My new addiction!!

And I love free!!! You can advertise for free....and get 100% profit.....what more can I say? Ebay is a rip off anymore, so I am so thankful for Craigslist as a seller.

Since this move, we have sold over $600 worth of stuff ~ yes you read that right. It's great. I have made a little money as well as DECLUTTERED. No more moving with things we don't need.....and we can FINALLY use our garage ~ FOR THE CARS instead of storage. What a concept!!!

Yep, I  CraigsList, too. I have sold probably $200 worth of stuff over the past year and have found some gently used toys cheap for DD.

I really need to check this out.Is it a secure and safe site?Do you do the transactions through the site and not through the mail with the person purchasing the items?

You create an account and then Craigslist gives you an anonymous account number: including an anonymous email. No one knows who you are until you contact someone concerning a potential sale or someone contacts you and wants to know more about something you are selling. And even at that point they would only know your email address if you were to respond to their inquiries. Everything you do prior to being contacted is anonymous until you start exchanging phone numbers and emails with a potential client.

However, you can protect your privacy on sales if you choose to meet in a WAlmart parking lot to do the exchange or even at a gas station. You can decide on how you want to handle it. Unfortunately though, big ticket items, such as couches, washer and dryers, etc will have to be picked up at residential homes.

Create an account and go and have a peek. It won't hurt you. What hurts you is the addiction you create !!!!
