I've been a member for for 3 years now and have never had a problem! I'm saving up for something really big, I'm at about 18,000 points! It's really a good service!

My hint with MyPoints is to open a new free e-mail address and use that exclusively for the MyPoints offers. That way you can see the spam that you might get. I do get some, but it isn't very bad and only if I take advantage of one of the offers. Plus the e-mail account I use has a great spam filter.

I have shopped through them, especially during the holidays when I do a lot of on-line shopping, and have gotten the points awarded. Right now I have two $25 Circuit City gift cards that I'm going to use to buy a handheld GPS so DD and I can go geocaching.

I have the MyPoints toolbar loaded on one of my computers and the UPromise toolbar, too. That way I don't forget to shop through them.

I love love love (did i Mention LOVE??) mypoints! I just got a $25 gift card to Old Navy, $5 to starbucks, and $10 to Bath & Body Works! I use this site daily! I start saving my points in the summer to use for Christmas presents. It is an easy way to get a little extra $$ even though it's in the form of gift cards.

mypoints is the best!!
I've been a member for years and have never had a problem. I've gotten lots of gift cards! They litterally take DAYS to get them to you, it's great!!
I have one in my purse right now. It's the best survey site I've ever used.

If you mostly get points through clicking on e-mails then it does go slow but sometimes the offers are free ones and you can rack up points that way too! Around holiday's they really send you a lot of e-mails and your points go up really fast!

I have been using Mypoints for a couple of years now and have had no problems with them. I generally save up my points and then trade them for $50 gc to Macys and put them towards Christmas shopping, etc.

That's my question too - how do you get those emails that pay points?

thanks
Lena

I've been a member for so long that I don't remember how long it took to get my first emails. Have you completed all of the profile questions? You can also go to their website and do the games and contests. Just a few months ago, they were giving away plasma tvs and Stella Scooters (I wanted one so bad!). Trust me, they will come...lots of them. I think I get anywhere from 5-10 a day, most days. One thing to remember is that they all have different expiration dates, so some emails you have to read more quickly than others. Usually you have at least a few days to read an email. Sometimes it's a couple of weeks.

Oh, and make sure your email subscriptions are all checked to receive the emails.
