When you sign up you get 5 points for reading emails. They are just advertisements. You can sign up for trial things for extra points but I've never done this. You can also take surveys and collect more points. I have received my gift card. I haven't run into any problems.

I get the Walmart gift cards from Mypoints and they take 1500 points for a $10 gift card. The cards come really fast when you redeem your points, It just takes awhile to accumulate enough points by clicking emails. I have not had any trouble with Mypoints!

You are suposed to be able to earn points by shopping through them but I only did once and gave up trying to see if I'd been credited the points.

I've been a member since 2000 or 2001 and never had a problem with them.

I've been a member for years and have gotten lots of gift cards for Chili's, Red Lobster and other restuarants, as well as Old Navy and Target. I like it and it only takes a few minutes a day to read the emails and earn your points.

I've never had a problem with them either. If you don't shop via their website it takes longer to get points, but even just reading e-mails they add up. I've gotten Target, Old navy, Chili's gift cards and they come within a few days of ordering. Its worth it for the few extra seconds it takes to click on links. They (mypoints) asks for your contact info, but nothing like SSN.

MyPoints is great! I've been a member since 1999 and have gotten many, many gift cards. I make most of my points by reading emails but I've shopped through them before too. A couple of times when I've shopped my points weren't credited but as soon as I contacted customer service and copy and pasted them my receipt, they credited my points right then. It was pretty easy. The gift cards come fast too!! DH even opened his own account so he can earn points too. I'd definitely recommend MyPoints!

Thank you ladies for all your help. I started yesterday and I have 310 points. I know I need a lot more for the gift cards but I am hoping to use this as yet another security blanket to get a quick gift card if in desperte need or just to help out! Thanks Again

Thats cool, it does work! I've gotten one gift card for walmart from them, I just cashed in 1500 just to see if it would work, it does! I'm back to about 3100 points and counting, most of it is just from reading emails. I've recruited a few people, that helps me earn points and I've shopped, and got a bunch of points from that as well!! I love mypoints!!
