Thanks for all those great sites! I have been wanting to make some more money from home (I'm a SAHM). This might be a silly question, but for those of you who do surveys, do you claim them on your taxes? Is that required? Thanks!

I tried the Vindale Research. I do not recommend it because in order to do the surveys, you have to sign up for offers from the websites whose products you test. For example, you use your credit card info and pay $7.95 for a specific offer. You follow the instructions, then go back and do the survey about the product. They say they pay you $15.00 for doing the survey to compensate you for paying for the service.. Another one was....sign up for the free trial program (requires credit card info) and use the service, then comment on the survey. They are banking on you forgetting to cancel it before the trial time is up so they can charge you for the service.
There was one survey that paid a dollar. No credit card info required, it took about 5 minutes to complete. You had to enter your zip code and your state of residence to verify your identity. My state was not on the drop down window! I contacted their customer support and simply got a message that they did not know why it did that and that since doing the surveys was completely on a volunteer basis....they didn't owe me anything.
I give them a big
While, I might try some of the other ones. I would hate to suck my time up doing something for $10.00, when I could be doing something more useful and rewarding.

I have gotten money from surveysavvy, my2cents, and prizes from zoompanel. I am also on the consumersurvey for taste tests etc. I get good money for the taste tests, but they only come a few times a year.

Vindale is a known scam. Definitely stay away. There are lots of complaints out there.

I have been doing surveys for about 3 years now. I did great last year I made about $1000 and hope to probably be making more this year. I am signed up for all the survey sites that have been mentioned in this listing. Another website to check out is freelancebyu.com they have lots of great listings and one of them is to lots of different survey sites. My advise to anyone interested in surveys is sign up for every company available because you never know which ones will really end up paying you. Have fun ladies!!!

I am a member of a couple of Australian survey companies so i will share for the other Aussies here:

Email Cash.
Pure Profile.
Your Voice.

Pure Profile and Your Voice take a while to accumulate points and get money but I have had a cordless phone, gift voucher and teddy bear from Your Voice but Email Cash is wonderful. You can buy goods for their reward partners and so far I have had 6 x $30 vouchers and I have enough for another one now. I only buy goos if I need them anyway e.g. when we go away, I book accommodation through their rewards partners to get the points.

I adore Pinecone Research. The surveys are easy to read and don't take long. Each survey pays you 3 dollars, and if you test a product, you get 3 dollars for the inital survey and 3 after you've tried the product. I get my checks within a few days. Problem is you have to find one of their banners on a website because you can't just go to their website.
