I just started doing it, but I was impressed. Some of the food may not be the healthiest, but it definitely helps your grocery budget.

I love it, I'm horrible at meal planning/planning to buy meat so its helped me a lot to plan around what Angel Food has this month. Only "downside" is that my chest freezer stays so full I often forget what I have in there, I need to start an inventory list or something.

I'm picking up my first order tomorrow, so I'll find out soon if I like it.

I picked up my first order in March and I have used quite a bit of the food already. I ordered the April package along with the grill package. I pick it up the middle of April. I will keep you posted on what I cook this month that comes from Angel Food ministries. I used the canned pears last week in a pear salad that was really good.

THANK YOU so much for this post. I have seen the ad in our local free newspaper and wondered about it for months! Of course now I can't find the darn paper, but next time it comes, I will def. be going! So you can get more than one? I had no idea, but my food bill is out of control so it would def. help with my meals. I am a terrible meal planner as well. Thanks again!!!!

Here is their web site. You click on hosts to find a participating church in your area.

Angel Food Ministries

I plan on trying it too I will be getting a box of meat to grill too...hubby loves steaks. I have been trying to find a way to save on groceries forever...and we don't like most of the stuff you can get at Aldis.

You can buy as many of the main boxes as you want. I typically buy 2 if it has a lot of stuff that I will use up quickly. One box for 2 adults could last you a couple weeks or longer, depending on what you have already in your pantry, fridge, or freezer. I really like it, too.
