I placed my first order for this month. I only got one unit and the grill box. I thought if I liked it I would do 2 next month.

We have been buying "angel food" for about a year now. We usually buy every other month. We check the menu online, and then decide if we are going to buy.

We only buy the food for the meats because it is a good value. However, some months have great items like 4+lbs. of chicken breast, and other months have smaller quanties of various meats (hamburger, steak, chicken fingers, etc.)

My children "LOVE" the popcorn chicken, and we also had great results with a 10lb. box of corn dogs!

Matt just cooked up the hamburger patties from this past box and they were great! Wonderful size that didn't shrink up, taste really good, no grissle or fat. I was impressed.

We had some of the popcorn chicken so far - it was a big hit with my DD's. I think DH is throwing the lasagna in the oven tonight because I have to work late. I'm pleased with what all we got - especially for the price!

I paid $22.50 for 3 chicken dinners yesterday (at our fire co's chicken BBQ) and can't belive for $2.50 more you could get all that food from Angel Food ministries.

What a nice ministry it is. I am wondering if our church should try to sponsor it. The church I got our box at is 20 miles from our church? Anyone every run one or know anything about it?

I will pick up my next package on the 14th of this month. This is the first time I have purchased one of the meat packages. I cannot wait to see how that is.

We grilled on our new gas grill last night - all of it was from Angel Food. Bls chicken breast, hot dogs, & t-bone steaks. We were shocked at how thin the t-bones were when we got them but they stayed juicy and were very flavorful even thought it was impossible to cook them to still be pink in the center. So even though we were initally disappointed with them (I'm a medium girl, he's rare to medium rare) we were happy with them in the end.
