Well, today was very fruitful in my shopping expenditures! I had to go to Lowe's to get a few things for a few yard projects that needed to be done (yes- I need to have my house and home in order for this!). I decided to stop at the local Dollar Store to see if they had any nice things for my DD's slumber party. I wanted to get something sort of nice for the favor bag (instead of cheap throw away things), I decided to try to find diaries- well .79 cents is not bad- but the $7 shipping is ridiculous! Anyways< I was looking all the stationary and an employee came to me and asked if I needed help- turns out he was the owner and he had journals that were pink and had a butterly on it that snapped shut (no lock on it though)- they were in the back and he wanted to get rid of them- I got them for 25 cents each- WOOHOO! I also got 2 3 packs of nail polish- the one package looked like it was starting to seperate (which I can easily fix)- he gave them to me for 75 cents each pkg! Yippee! So all in all- I have the favor bags for all the girls for $5.00!
