I seriously doubt it!!! I don't want to figure it out though. Sometimes ignorance is bliss!

DH and I have found that the times we didn't tithe, we were worse off. We may be down to the penny every single payday, but we're worse off if we don't give back the 10% that God tells us to.

I'm with Happymom I guess. I really should kick it in gear and figure this out because it would help me in the long run. But should do and actually doing aren't the same.

I'd have to say we are pretty good. I don't know how to figure some of them like clothing. I get all our clothes from Goodwill/garage sales/thrift stores/clearance racks/gifts. I have made one purchase of a little black dress for a formal dinner for dh work and that was 1 year ago. investment piece. we are too cheap to go to zoo/museum/movies.

I am going to try and firgure out the more tangible numbers.

If $500 is 10% of what you bring home every month and you cannot afford to tithe anything, you need to re-do your budget.

I'm actually on track with most of that, except for charity and my mortgage is just about $60 over what it should be.

I can't believe that he only has 5-10% for health/medical.... with the rise in costs.. I'm only paying 20% of the premium and my company picks the rest up..Thank God! I'm sure it will go up again next year.

I couldn't agree more. I pay tithes every pay. It's one of the first things that gets paid. I am always down to the penny, just about and sometimes I should be worse off than that, but my bills are ALWAYS paid and never late..

We're pretty on. I'm surprised. We have no debts other than our house and van, so as long as I'm careful on groceries and extras, we do okay.

We too, didn't think that we could make it on one salary when our son was born, let alone tithe on top of it. But God kept providing new free lance jobs for dh and then a new job. I believe that being faithful in our tithing made our faith grow. I kept being amazed at what God was doing. Isn't that sad tho, I should never be amazed at what God can and will do.
