What exactly is a pricebook and how do you organize it?

I guess it's a list of prices for food and toiletries...but how do you lay yours out? How do you do the research. It sounds a little overwhelming to me.

Please help! We absolutely HAVE to cut back. DH took a pay cut at his new job. Thanks so much for your help!

there is no right or wrong with the lay out of your pricebook.

Just track the products that your family consumes. Some sort by name brand and then list stuff like size, price, coupon, final price and price per oz. Then after a few months of enteries, you'll be able to see what the heapest price is for X product and you stock up when that is on sale

I've never had the patience to do one and since I get my grocery list online I don't have to do it because they do it for me.

Unfortunately, I've never found a good template that already exsists online. However, complete twightwad gazette talks about theirs.

This sounds like it could be helpful...eventually...after all the initial work is done. It sounds like a lot of set up, though. Of course, it may be worth it if you end up saving a ton of money month after month. I think I will check into this. Thanks!
