Definitley, Santa wraps!!! I leave the paper out for him! (Santa can't afford all that paper!) Unless, of course it is something huge like a bike or desk or something. Christmas would not be as much fun without all the unwrapping!.

We wrap all of our gifts and put them under the tree.

Unwrapping the pretty paper is part of the Christmas fun. Santa and mommy shop in the same place sometimes for the wrapping paper, as ds has noticed.

I agree that unwrapping the presents is the best part of Christmas. I try to use different wrapping paper on the Santa gifts and Santa doesn't wrap the stocking stuffers. If Santa brings a big gift that needs assembled he will not wrap that one.

I am impressed by how many of you are almost finished shopping already. I guess it is time to get started. I usually don't even start shopping for my kids until Nov because they are always seeing something new they want. I have learned from past experience that the earlier I start shopping the more I spend.

At our house, "Santa" gives all the gifts and yes, he wraps them all. I buy paper at Target right after the holidays and it's super cheap.

santa wraps his gifts in a special paper that i hide so boys never have seen it they help me pick out all the other wrapping paper.. usually i pick a candy cane striped or a red paper for santas gifts santa brings each child the one thing they had to have and either a group gift or 2 of the same items my boys tend to fight if they don't get the same things..

My Santa leaves his gifts to the kids unwrapped under the tree. But, so far, Santa has brought one big gift that can't really be wrapped and then smaller ones and stocking stuffers. If Santa happens to leave one for me or DH then its wrapped. RIght now there are so many presents from other people that Santa doesn't buy much, guess we may revisit the issue as kids get older and presents from grandparents and aunts decrease.

Now I'm ready for the holidays with all this thinking of presents and paper and lights!!

I grew up with Santa's gifts being unwrapped and we each had "our" place that Santa left our gifts. So that's what we usually do with our kids since DH doesn't care either way. There are separate piles for each child and they're unwrapped. And Santa only leaves them a few presents each and a big joint present to share. This past year, though, our oldest wanted his presents from Santa wrapped so we put that in the letter that he sent to Santa so that Santa would know his preference. It was special paper, too.
