Our best find was a brand new in the box still entertainment center for $5! It is not a full size one but it has so much storage and we were currently moving around with the Army so it was perfect! And the best part is it was not the junk plywood that some things are made of. Hopefully with moving we will be able to find more great deals on all of the big ticket items we are looking for.

I found a Step 2 meduim size climber for $15. It is great and the kids love it. When I get ready to get rid of it, they sell for around $40 on ebay.

I found a Step 2 outdoor play set with slide for $25 (they are $120 new) and last week found a nice mower for $50. Our's is broken and not sure if it is fixable, so I figured it was worth the $50 for this summer alone! I bought it without my DH and was a little nervous, but it works great...thank goodness!

Just this weekend DH found Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0, brand new, still factory sealed for 50 cents. I found a Cuisinart food processor (a rather large one), in near-mint condition, all parts included for $3.00. Great finds for under 4 bucks!

Last "season" I got TWO sets of barely used Pottery Barn Kids gorgeous patchwork quilts and coordinating floral sheet sets (pinks and yellows). I had thought she said $20 for one quilt, but she said "No, no, $20 for boths sets including both quilts." Well, if you put it that way...! They look beautiful in my oldest dd's pink room, and youngest dd's yellow room!!

Oh, and a really nice mountain bike for dd (not for a few years), again, hardly used, in purple, no less, for $5. That was bike #2 of the season, but hey, kids grow!!

I got 10 books today, many were recent best sellers... all look realllly good for $2. They are all in new or almost new shape!!

I also got an antique stoneware crock with a pretty blue pattern on it. It had been broken in the back and glued back together but you can't see it unless you have it displayed backwards...$3. I am going to use it to store potatoes, it holds a 5lb perfectly.

Saturday DH got a canoe for $100 - the cheapest he has seen was $300 used so he was thrilled.
He also got a set of brand new Cobra hand held 2 way radios for $10 - batteries included. He has been wanting a set to use on job sites (he is an electrician/contractor)

I got 3 brand new adult/family games. We loove to have friends and family over to play games especially in the summer when we can sit on the patio. One of the games was a Simpsons chess set - one of our friends collects Simpsons stuff and plays chess so we gave it to him as a house warming present.... all for $3

I got a piece of pottery made by a local artist. I have seen her stuff sold for no less than $30 a piece and up I got it for $2! It is a honey pot with a lid. I have a shelf bewteen built 2 in china cupboards that i have been filling with odds and ends pottery.

This weekend I found a FoodSaver for DH for $45. It looks brand new and came with a full box of the bags and 3 containers. The Foodsaver and bags are on sale this week at Kohl's for $120, I don't know how much the containers are.

I am not much of a yard seller. Mostly because dh is usually at work on Sat and I don't want to drag the kids around town all morning.
But a neighbor had a yard sale and I did run down and look at what she had. I bought an Exer-saucer for $10 for little dd when she was about 5 months old. I wanted one for my older dd, but couldn't pay $80 for one. I just bleached it and washed the seat and it was as good as new.
