I spent $69.61, which I thought was really good since I haven't been to the grocery store in 3 weeks and it will last me atleast 2 weeks. We are really trying to watch what we spend. I watched what I spent and thought twice before I bought. Oh and that included a small gift for mothers day..... not bad

We ended up not going out to eat Friday, so spent an amazing (for me) $31.41!!! I know I'll be over that next week as I'm hitting a few special stores (Trader Joe's, Wild Oats) that I only visit once a month, but hopefully not over $75!

i spent under $20, but that was b/c I bought for 2 weeks last week and just had to pick up something for a few cookouts and some fresh fruit. I also think I may have to get diapers this week which will put my total to about $25. Pretty good for me, but we pretty much cleaned out the cupboards. Oh well, at least nothing went to waste.

I just did mine for the week too I hit $42 on groceries. But then I also bought Diappers and a few other things too. I am not sure if diaper should count so if they do then I blew it for the week with $77

I'm pretty new to the site and after reading about the grocery challenge the first time, I was hooked!

Yesterday my husband took out $200 for the weekly groceries & spending! I wasn't sure how much we'd need, so we're starting here! I'm hoping to be able to drop it down more in the future, but wanted to try a week or two with this amount first to see what I can do with it.

Well, I was feeling great until I re-read the above posts! You guys are AMAZING!!! For our little family of 4 (almost 5) I spent $112.50! I didn't try for cheap meals this time around, but did plan out 6 meals so that I use everything I buy! I planned on trying to make it less in the future, but I was pretty thrilled with spending what I did. Now I'm just feeling challenged to do better next week!

You guys are truly an inspiration!!!
