That is a great way to save money. My dh has clippers and cuts his own hair and trims his facial hair with them. Its definitely cheaper and easy.

We do this at our house, too. The boys & DH have buzz cuts. I let the boys' hair grow out thru the winter & do scissor cuts then. I haven't cut DD hair yet. I do have mine done every once in a while to keep it in shape. It just depends on the style as to how often I get it done. But, it does save us bunches!
