You and I are one in the same. DH could have it at 68 and still sit around in his underwear whining that it's hot. Meanwhile, it's 90 outside and I've got on leggings under my jeans, slipper socks, slippers, three shirts and a blanket wrapped around me. He says I'm just cold all the time, but I think when your 2 year old can run crazy through the house in sweatpants and a sweatshirt and still have cold feet & hands, it's too cold. JMO though..

I live on the bottom floor of a three-story apartment building, with the rear of my apartment kind of like a walk-out basement with two windows and a sliding-glass door. Being in NH, most of the spring and fall I can open up the door/windows and sometimes use fans, if needed, to keep the place at an acceptable temperature (upper 60s/low 70s). I also use a dehumidifier for those humid days.

During the winter, we do have baseboard heat, but I rarely turn it on. It appears that the heat seeps through from other apartments, so mine is practically *roasting* all winter. There have been times where it's been below freezing and I've had the heat off and windows open. Of course, this saves on heating, but since my landlord pays for that, I don't get the benefit.

I live in North GA (temps have been 106 here YIKES!) We use ceiling and box fans to help keep things cool. The AC is set betwen 72-74 during summer and 62-64 during winter.
