Has anyone had any experience good or bad with buying previously viewed DVDs at Hollywood Video? They are selling them for 3 for $25 for recent releases (a month or two old), which is about 1/2 what I would pay for new for the same movies. I am afraid of getting a dud. Anyone have any experience to share?

I've had good luck. Keep your receipt, they have a one-year guarantee.

I get them a few times a year at the really good sale prices...We have yet to have a problem with any, but like Kim said, I keep my receipt just in-case. HTH

I have not bought any from Hollywood Video but we did from EB Games and have not had a problem. Just check the disk for any scratches first.

Blockbuster now has (4) for $20. They've been fine. The catch is that you need to check them when you get them. After 30 days, you can't exchange.
