well the kids and got the cover off the pool so it bakes in the sun and we are gonna do a day at the pool(our backyard) we made tickets to get in and everything..cheaper than driving and going somewhere...i even made some homemade popsickles and some other goodies and we are gonna have a concession stand.....so should be fun and free!!!

I have set the A/C 4 degrees higher than usual and closed all of the blinds and drapes to help keep the house cooler instead. So far it feels great. I can just feel my electric bill going down.

We are hanging at the park today and I am planning a walk with DH later (both Free)
Wednesday is breakfast for dinner day so having a breakfast for dinner day usually mean that the food expences are down for the day

I set the A/C just 2 degrees higher, but now that we are approaching evening (its going on 4pm here) I need to lower it to cool the house off, so I am not sure it helped??

Went to the store and found 2 good deals in the discount bins. And it is 85 degrees here in CO and I haven't turned on our A/C yet.

It is beautiful outside today! No need for the A/C. I think we may go to the park after dinner. It is accross the street, so no gas cost!

I am slowly upping the AC temperature every few days so my husband doesn't know... I pushed it up to 73 this morning... we started this venture at 68 degrees a month ago!

I found a $20 bill in the parking lot at my work this morning, so I was extremely grateful!

My dh wanted ice tea (we drink it sweet here) so I made some homemade ice tea and it was yummy and frugal.

I filled a jug 3/4 full of water, poured the water into a pot, set it to boil, added 4 teabags, boiled it for 4 min, added a cup of sugar and 1/4 cup lemon juice, let it cool, poured it back into the container, topped it up with ice. Dh said it was way better than the store bought stuff. :happy dance:
