well i guess a victory for me was that we had to go to target to get wipes and my kids saw a bowling set in the toy section and really wanted one...instead of buying it i told them we would make one at home...so we dug some propel water bottles out of the recycle bin wiped them down got a couple balls we had and made a bowling game!!! so not only did we use something up in our house we created alot of fun!!!

I'm still trying to hold off on grocery shopping. The kids are away with their grandparents so it's just me and my husband for dinner this week. I'm busy thinking of recipes for just the two of us. I have a couple of packages of meat with just two pieces each so we'll be using those up this week.

I have been quite surprised with how well I've been doing on this one! I have not purchased many things that I usually buy at at store, because I have similar items at home!!!

I have not bought any canned or frozen veggies- because we have a lot of frozen at home- There was a big sale on the frozen veggies here at our local store and I usually try to stock up when they're on sale, but I didn't buy any!!

I thought I needed new shampoo about a week ago, but I remembered that I was doing this challenge, so I went through my bathroom closet and found a bunch of shampoo bottles that were about 1/4 full. I decided to use those up!

This weekend I worked on my freezer meals. I made 7 full meals with out even going to the store for ANYTHING but eggs! I was very excited about that one!

I had been buying things for art projects about once a month at this really cool art supply store. I would use all of the supplies to do art projects with my girls and I'd put left over items in a rubbermaid container. Instead of making my art supply store trip this month, I opened up the rubbermaid container and we've started using the "left over" supplies to do our projects!

3 cans of green beans down... 10 to go!
I used up 3 bottles of hair care, toothpaste, and conditioner this weekend that were 1/4 of the way full instead of buying new.
I borrowed a book instead of buying it.

For this week...

Use 2 more cans of green beans.
Eat what we have instead of going to the Grocery.

Yesterday, I used up some tomatoes, peppers, onion to make salsa. Also, some other foods that would go bad. If I didn't do that then, they would be still there this week rotting. I think that is about it so far this week.

I have still not had to buy any grocery items except for milk and fresh produce. I'm using up every scrap of frozen food so we are having some creative dinners!! But, its been fun experimenting with "2 meat" casserolesand such!!

Let's see my mother is visiting & for dinner we are having my Nana's homemade chicken salad, & it makes enough that we will have plenty for lunch & possibly enough for dinner tomorrow night also. We will be eating up the fruit we have too.

I went through my children's leftover school supplies and pulled out anything that can be used/reused. I found a ton of pencils that needed to be sharpened, tons of eraser caps to be put on eraserless pencils. I then organized my kid's craft cabinet and now we know what we have to make crafts.
