SHOPPING was always so much fun for me that when my dh and I began a budget and I had to cut way back I needed something *FUN* to fill my place of shopping. Now that it is summer time I spend 99% of the time that i would have spent shopping at the new local public pool built brand new in 2007 it is nice, I can socialze and my membership for 4 months of summer was only 57.00 and I can go as much as I want. Now I get really mad if I have to go to the store for something and miss a day relaxing by the pool.

I've really been decluttering and posting a bunch of stuff on craigslist and ebay. Its almost as fun as shopping. I said almost...!

Now that summer is here, I try to spend part of each day working with my son on some kind of school work. He was doing so well in kindergarten that I don't want him to forget everything.

We also joined the summer reading program at the library and go once a week.

I used to go shopping as a hobby. Now I spend my time finding ways to save and earn money. First it was a grocery shopping addiction, pouring over the ads ads and coupons to find the best deals. Currently I have been finding ways to earn extra money from home, like selling on ebay, planning a yard sale, on line surveys, etc. It is challenging and actually kinda fun!
